Frequent moves are a reality for many young renters, and turning a temporary space into a home can feel overwhelming.
As Product Lead, I built Roomly with my partners to simplify that experience. Users scan their space, receive curated AI-driven design ideas, and discover pre-loved furniture from local sellers — all in one seamless flow. Roomly helps people settle in quickly, beautifully, and sustainably.
In 2024, we received several awards — but we didn’t stop there. Through ongoing user interviews, we learned that people wanted an easier way to pick up secondhand furniture nearby and connect with trusted resale channels like Facebook Marketplace. Buyers wanted more confidence, and sellers wanted to save time by avoiding multiple listings across different platforms.
We refined the design to strengthen these connections, streamline the pickup process, and build more trust into the experience. With these improvements, we went on to win a Red Dot Award in 2025.
Seeing my grandfather fall repeatedly in the home he adored made one thing clear: a place full of memories should never become a source of fear. As we age, familiar spaces can slowly turn unsafe.To change that, I’m partnering with two experienced technical experts focused on AI and 3D visualization to create Silver Power—a service that uncovers risks and designs personalized home-safety upgrades, helping seniors live safely and joyfully where they feel most at home.
